During the trip, two cousins are depicted who come together in Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. In life, contrary to their first plans to strengthen their relationship, their personal disagreements and family past come to the forefront, which leads to the creation of a tumultuous atmosphere. The trip becomes a kind of walking on a tightrope when the main characters are doing their best to pay proper tribute to their grandmother’s memory, while at the same time they are desperate to sort through their emotional baggage. Nadia and Catherine’s common struggles in Poland have required them to re-evaluate their ties and the different instants where they were separated.
